Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Digify Job Hunter collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with and what your rights are. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018).
Who the controller is
Digify is the controller of the data processed in Digify Job Hunter. To exercise your rights or ask a privacy question, write to privacidade@digify.live.
What data we process
| Category | Data | Source and purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Email, name and profile picture | Received from Google or GitHub when you use social sign-in, or just the email with a magic link |
| Professional profile | Phone, LinkedIn, GitHub, website, portfolio, country, skills, languages, experience and availability | Provided by you, used to score jobs and fill in applications |
| Resumes | The files you upload | Stored so they can be attached to applications |
| Jobs and applications | Collected postings, fit scores and application history | Generated by your use of the service |
| Session | Session identifier and expiry date | Required to keep you signed in |
On what legal basis
We process your account and profile data to perform the contract you enter into by using the service: without it we cannot search, score or submit applications.
We rely on legitimate interest to keep the service secure, such as logging sign-in attempts and limiting abuse.
Where the law requires consent, it is requested separately and can be withdrawn at any time.
Who we share with
We do not sell personal data. We share only with the providers the service needs to run:
| Provider | Purpose | Data sent | Processing location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, database and file storage | All data listed above | United States and global network |
| Groq | AI job scoring and cover letter generation | Job description plus your skills and experience | United States |
| Resend | Delivery of the sign-in link email | Your email address | United States |
| Google / GitHub | Authentication, if you choose social sign-in | Email, name and picture | United States |
| Applicant tracking systems | Submitting the application on the employer's site | Resume, cover letter and contact details | Depends on the employer |
When you decide to submit an application, your contact details, resume and cover letter are sent to the employer and become subject to the employer's own privacy policy.
International transfers
The providers above process data outside your country, mainly in the United States. The transfer is necessary to perform the contract, and the providers adopt standard contractual clauses for data protection.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. Expired sessions and sign-in tokens are deleted automatically. After a deletion request, data is removed except where the law requires retention.
Your rights
At any time you may request confirmation of processing, access to your data, correction of incomplete or outdated data, anonymisation or deletion, portability, and information about who we share it with. You may also withdraw consent and object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights, write to privacidade@digify.live. We respond within 15 days.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit. We store no passwords: access is by single-use link or social sign-in. Session identifiers are stored only as a cryptographic digest, so a copy of the database cannot be replayed. Each account reaches only its own data, and that separation is covered by automated tests.
No system is immune to incidents. If a security incident occurs that is likely to put you at risk, we will notify you and the competent supervisory authority within the periods the law requires.
Automated decisions
The fit score for each job is produced by an artificial intelligence model. The score only suggests an ordering: it does not restrict your access to any job and decides nothing on its own. You can see the reasoning behind every score and ask for a review through the contact channels.
Minors
The service is not intended for people under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from that age group.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will let you know by email or inside the service before the change takes effect.
